Sam Smith back with ‘dancey’ single E! News UK
Sam Smith is about to return with a “dancing” track.
The 29-year-old singer is gearing up to return with an upbeat new single titled “Love Me More,” and Sam can’t wait for fans to hear the new material.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Sam is super excited to be making a long-awaited comeback and feels the time is right.
“They’re all about love, laughter and being able to get out and dance again and want that reflected in their music after a tough few years. Of course Sam will also keep his classic sound, but expect ‘Love Me More’ to get an anthemic, danceable feel.
“The video is filming later this month, and the single should be out soon after.”
Despite their success, Sam has previously admitted to being a “vulnerable and sensitive person”.
The chart-topping star released her debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour,’ in 2014 and went on to impressive success, winning multiple Grammys and even an Academy Award.
The singer said: “I’ve had an amazing life, but I think I was born with a bit of sadness in me.
“I’ve always been drawn to these things, whether it’s sad movies, sad music…when you’re sad, you feel everything better than when you’re happy.
“I am a vulnerable and sensitive person. I overthink everything.”
However, Sam also confessed to being “grateful for [their] sadness”.
The pop star explained, “I’m incredibly aware of my body, my music, everything in my life, and that self-awareness is what keeps me grounded right now. If I didn’t have that , I would become a bit of an ap****. I am grateful for my sadness.”
