The Latino Music Awards will be held on October 12 in Bogotá

The 12th edition of the Latino Music Awards will be held for the first time in Bogota in 2022.

It will also feature a 100-meter “black carpet” that will bring together more than 300 guest journalists.

Among the performers already confirmed for the grand awards ceremony are prominent personalities from all corners of the country. The live shows will be performed by Fanny Lu, Arelys Henao, Yeison Jiménez, Maia, Twister, Mr. Black, Kevin Florez, Giblack, Zaider and Cris y Ronny.

The setting will be the Movistar Arena on Thursday, October 12.

There will also be a performance by the queen of Puerto Rican merengue, Olga Tañon, winner of four Latin Grammys and two Grammy Awards. She will also go home with her own prize.

The most nominated artist is Colombian reggaeton star Karol G.

The event confirmed that the Spanish singer and actress Paloma San Basilio, will be one of its guests of honor and will reward her musical career. Throughout it, she has sold over 16 million records.

In 2021, the total number of nominees voted for by fans and music industry personalities was 15,690,000. This year, Latino Music expects to surpass that record.
