What are the Grammys to the music industry, the Glammys to the beauty industry?

Known as the Beauty & Barber Bosses Awards (BBBA), the Glammys represent the voices of hairstylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, barbers, estheticians and all professionals in the beauty industry.

“What the Grammys are to the music industry, the Glammys are to the beauty industry.”

The Glammys is the only beauty salon of its kind, bringing you an action-packed two-day event. This year, the show will feature the industry’s first-ever ‘Beauty Business Conference’, which will offer courses on: Human Resources (HR), Franchise Opportunities, Commercial and Personal Insurance, Opening Beauty Schools / hairdressing, branding and marketing, business credit, financing, and game plan for exit plan. The Beauty Business Conference has 5 main objectives: 1. Network: to meet like-minded people and industry peers. 2. Expand knowledge and find solutions to problems. 3. Present new ideas and work to others. 4. Position yourself to meet someone who could have a huge impact on your professional career. 5. Learn beyond your field or interests. The focused nature of the Beauty Business conference allows consumers to deepen and gain an understanding of the beauty industry from the business side.

The Glammy Awards are a celebration of professionals in the beauty and hairstyling industry. This event recognizes the hard work that goes into helping clients look and feel their best. Our work impacts clients from the big screen to red carpets, from fashion shows to everyday polished looks. The Glammy Awards honor the history and legacy of the hair and beauty industry, invest in its future, and are dedicated to ensuring that the professional beauty arts continue to be part of our shared cultural heritage. .

The designer, Tiffane Nicol (@tiffanenicol) developed the Glammy Awards knowing that; Too often stylists, barbers and business owners in the beauty industry are not honored and recognized for the skills and talents they bring to the world.

To keep the culture alive, the Glammys Scholarship Ceremony honors the late Mrs. CJ Walker. She is the first African-American woman to become a millionaire as a beauty entrepreneur. This scholarship also celebrates professional students who will become the future stylists and barbers of the industry. This award is the most distinctive feature and unique attribute of the Glammys awards show.

In addition to award shows that showcase the achievements of industry experts, this annual awards show includes performances from well-known platform artists and special performances that combine the charming world of Lip Sync performances.
